Description
This community-based project takes place in the Rio Negro Sustainable Development Reserve, opposite the Anavilhanas Archipelago, one of the largest in the world. The place is surrounded by the immensity of the Amazon, full of wonderful landscapes and deep experiences.
Why is this trip at GoLocal?
Developed by the riverine communities of Tumbira and Santa Helena do Inglês, this project generates income for about 60 families.
Riverine culture and traditions are valued and preserved, strengthening the identity of local communities. In addition, eco-tourism contributes to reducing deforestation pressure and encourages environmental conservation.
Intercultural exchanges with visitors enrich the daily life of communities who are delighted to create a connection with them.
