The Combu Island is the home of Dona Nena, who grows cocoa and produces chocolate by hand (100% organic cocoa!), from the recipe used traditionaly by families in that region. Today the product is used by renowned chefs, such as Thiago Castanho from Belém and Alex Atala from São Paulo. During the visit, it will be possible to visit the property of the Dona Nena family, to contemplate some local native species, such as cocoa, chestnut and samaúma; to participate in a regional snack and to understand the chocolate manufacturing process and the local way of life.

Ground transportation in Belém, in the hotel / port / hotel section.

River transport in a regional chartered vessel, on the Belém / Ilha do Combu / Belém section.

Visit and scheduled activities on Combu Island.

Regional snack offered by Dona Nena.
